Spring Break 2012

So my Parents flew out Tiffany and I out to Southern California to visit.
We had not been back since Christmas time. What a trip we have had this far.
Agenda:

Saturday- I went and played golf at the country club my Dad joined, and got my butt handed to me by my Dad and brother.( I did sink an 80 foot put on the 18th for a par!)

Sunday- we saw John Carter and it was so Disney and so Friday Night Lights

Monday- lazy day, honestly did little to nothing, but we did sleep in until 10:30!

Tuesday- Went to Southern California Science Museum, followed by an afternoon laying on the Torrance Beach and floating in the water hoping for waves...no such luck today

The Science Museum was a placed I frequented as a child with my Mom, and how fun it was. Fast forward 15 years and it is a bacteria filled, overpopulated middle school, and was not exactly a place I will be going back too until we have kids of our own. We did watch a baby chick hatch which was a once in a lifetime thing(at least for a southern California resident)

As for tomorrow, Tiffany and I will be heading 2 hours down the 5 freeway to the San Diego Zoo, great photos, and I am sure funny stories about Tiffany and Animals still to come

Ahhh the Married Life, if you stick around long enough, you will experience more than you could ever imagine life could offer!

Our First Married Valentines Day

You know there is so much pressure these days to have a rock star valentines day.
The problem is that you miss out on the most important thing, which is spending quality,
relaxing time with the one you love.

What are the newly weds doing for Valentines day? Well, frankly there are too many choices
in small town Texas to choose from(insert sarcasm). So we are staying in and experimenting (wait...)
with a Fondue set we got from the wedding.
We will be having:
  Garlic Pita Bread Toasted in oven with 
Mozzarella/Prosciutto balls on top
A Small Garden Salad with Tiffs homemade dressing
Fresh Veal with a choice of either a garlic dip or honey sear
and of course strawberries with dark chocolate!

We will than preside to the entertainment portion of the evening....fill in the blank

Sure we have plenty of friends that went out of town, are eating at an over priced restaurant, but do they get to eat with no shoes on, music of their choice, or have a bed to immediately retreat to upon completion of said meal?????? NO!  That being said, neither of us have ever really had that great of a valentines day(including while we were dating/engaged) , so it excited us both to be able to have our first official day of love celebration after our wedding!


It is such a blessing to get to bless someone else. She has no idea, I have no idea, and the excitement of the evening is so amazing!

We are actually going to go to the gym tonight at school because frankly, we both will need too after the food massacre occurs!
